David Bowie
David Bowie

Vinyl 12" Stereo & Mono

David Bowie's eponymously-titled 1967 debut bears little resemblance to the music he found fame with later in his career as it's influences drew more on theater, music hall and vaudeville. Released in the same year as The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, David Bowie is a distinct reflection of mid-'60s London with whimsical narratives and biting wit, an early sound from an artist that would hang his hat on the ability to embrace and usher in change.

AudioQuest has been the largest cable supplier to the high-end specialist market for many years. AudioQuest was founded by Bill Low in 1977 and his dedication to sonic performance has been at the heart of the continuous development of AudioQuest products. In 1987 Bill also started to design and manufacture 75 ohm video and digital cables. They were dedicated designs based on the same fundamental low distortion principles as the audio, but which took into account the different priorities required for wide bandwidth applications. Over the years the video and digital range grew to include a full-time of "S", "Component" and RGB video cables and cables optimised for long runs of very delicate signals such as from a satellite dish or for HDTV. In the audio world, many professionals have learned that it is not always convenient to listen to the products they sell...they might learn something they don't want to know! Bill has always understood the challenge of combining his passion for music with practical and professional products.
